I recently had the priviledge of taking engagement photos for Alex and John!  These two were SO great to work with because they weren't afraid to "work the camera!"

And their sweet dog Gwendolyn posed perfectly as well!

 We met on the square in downtown Murfreesboro... which was a treat for me to be back in my home town and around my old stomping grounds!

Alex and John, you two were a blast and so gorgeous to photograph! Thank you so much for giving me the opportunity and trusting me with capturing this special time for you!

White Lace and Promises

I was given such a great and fun opportunity recently to spend a morning with the sweet girls at

White Lace and Promises during their Casablanca Couture Trunk Show!

This was extra special for me because Casablanca was the designer of my gown that I purchased from WLP!

There were lots of pictures taken of brides-to-be who found their wedding gowns that day, but to protect the privacy of that special dress for her big day, I won't post those here!

If you are a current bride to be or will be in the future, I highly recommend White Lace and Promises! Heather, Chasta, Sara Beth, Abby, and the rest of the girls are so sweet, kind, knowledgable, and truly excited to work with each bride and her party that comes into the store!

Behind on Blogging...

WOW!  I have gone almost 2 months with out a blog post! NOT GOOD!
The holidays occupied a lot of time (of course!...and I LOVED it!) and now it's just been getting back in to the swing of things with the new year!

BUT I'm back and ready to get busy!  I'm super thrilled to participate in a trunk show at White Lace and Promises in the near future and also have an engagement session lined up too!
There's even talks of a mini session day in the next couple of months!

And of course I can't make a post without a photo...

So in honor of today being my sweet sister n law's bday... it's gotta have her in it... this is just a candid snapshot of us together at a family Christmas party!
